Comments: My wife, Harmony, and I have always enjoyed the music of Heart. As I have documented on another guestbook, the music of Heart was part of the backdrop of the sounds and motions of the late 70's and 80's. Only recently have we looked at the 90's (The Road Home, Desire Walks On and Greatest Hits) and the energy of the previous years has only been refined, but without the compromises many bands make. Harmony and I both enjoy the earlier material and the more recent material; we only hope that Heart or whatever incarnation the band finds itself in will continue to write and execute intelligent rock songs. Heart is indeed one of the few bonafide elite bands, and without the nasty controversy(ies) other bands seem to thrive on. Looking forward to hearing what's next!

I'm originally from N.Y. where I had seen heart 3 or 4 times over the years. The most memorable was the summer of 1980 at Radio City for the Bebe Le Strange tour. I can almost put it in my Top 3 concerts of my life!! Ann and Nancy were in the best form -- the synergy between the whole band was real evident! I remember I was standing on the arms of my seat the whole show -- I was wired into the music -- it was the best drug! When they did Mistral Wind I didn't think I was ever going to come back! I have a tape off of WNEW-fm that was live from the Capital in 1978 -- it's equally as intense! To be completely honest I absolutely LOVE every song from Bebe Le Strange and back, but after 1980 I sort of feel lukewarm to warm about what they've done. Don't get mey wrong they're incredibly talented and I love them big time!
