The trip started at 2 a.m. Thu. morning, departing a Greyhound bus on my way to Wilkes Barre to hook up w/D, with a 2 hour layover in Harrisburg. We arrived promptly on time in Harrisburg, I had to change busses, and then we continued toward Wilkes Barre.

I arrived exactly on time....@ 11 o'clock, then met up w/Dee for lunch in downtown WB. After a chicken sandwhich at Wendy's, Dee returns to work and I sightsaw a lil til Dee could get off work around 2:15. We started toward Glenside around 2:30, and arrived around 4:30. We scouted out the club, and waited for Missy(MisMonger) to show up so we could grab a bite to eat b4 the show.

While we're waiting in front of the theater, We spot Lynn Wilson walking across the street. We were too shy to say hello, so we didn't. :) hehe...but..a few minutes later, she walks back across the street toward us, and Dee says she'll say hi this time..heeh...She does, and then Lynn disappears again.

A short while later, Missy shows up, and we decide on Chinese right next door to the theater. We're eating...minding our own business...when suddenly Missy is looking out the front window and says "Oh, there's Frankie." ;) hehe...He walked across once more while we're eating. We then took a walk afterwards, spotting Howie wandering around Glenside, and also Libby taking a stroll w/Marie and Truman (Ben's/Libby's newborn).

As showtime rolls around soon, Lynn (aka Xielda?), Andymonger, Francie, Don (Don in Philly), Aunt Jean and Lynn, and Tom and his wife Paula.

We went inside as the doors opened around 7:30, and we hung out in the lobby during the opening act's set. It was Evan and Jaron, the same band who opened for Ann Tue. night in Pittsburgh. I agree w/Missy's remark "a lil too Matchbox 20 like for my tastes". hehe. Tho as I said, their covers of "Down By The Schoolyard" & "Baba O'Riley" were impressive.

We found our seats after they finished, and waited for the main event. Around 9:30, Ann & the band started what would be my third and last show of the tour. The set list was identical as posted, so I'll skip to the end...after mentioning a few fans rushed up to the stage several times and handed Ann roses. Now, the unfortunate ending.

Ann just starts singing the intro to "Crazy On You", when suddenly a security gaurd jumps up on stage and waves his arms around and the band stops playing. We notice the audience in the left side of the stage coughing and gagging, and the band covering their faces w/towels and exiting the stage. Ann clues us in b4 she goes by grabbing the mic and saying "Looks like somebody has sprayed pepper spray in the area so we have to go now, see ya". :( Major bummer. We heard later on that the band was ok, and that they have since arrested the offender. ::sigh::

After the show we hung out, wondering if the band was ok, and we happened to see the band (except Ann) meandering around. We were told to disperse, so me and Dee said our good-byes to the rest of the Heartmongers contingent and headed off back for Wilkes Barre. We arrived back in Wilkes Barre around 1:30 a.m., and after visiting w/D for a short time, I headed off to wait at the bus terminal waiting for my 3:55 a.m. bus back home.

Well...I got there around 2:35, but the bus didn't end up arriving until 5:15 or so, causing me to miss my connection in Harrisburg at 7! :( I had to wait til 10:05 for the next bus, and so I finally got home around 3 p.m. Fri. afternoon. The tour is over for me...fini...Thanx Heart!
